In June, I had the opportunity to attend the Center for Mind-Body Medicine’s program in Washington, DC and receive training as a Cancer Care Guide. The symposium, on cutting-edge integrative cancer care featured leading specialists from around the world who spoke on integrative oncology and new techniques in cancer care.
I appreciate the education I obtained on ways to integrate mind/body techniques into a healing program for people experiencing cancer. In my practice as a Medical Support Hypnotist, I have integrated these techniques to assist clients in moving through their cancer treatments by adding complementary techniques to their treatment regimes.
